4. Data collection on this website

Consent management (cookie settings)

To manage consents, we use our own solution that runs entirely on our server. No data is transmitted to third parties. Via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page, you can see at any time which technologies we use and revoke consents given with effect for the future.

We currently use only technically necessary technologies, for example for the shopping bag, checkout, customer account and payment processing. These are permitted without consent under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG. As soon as we use services requiring consent, we will ask for your consent in advance via a notice window; such services are only loaded after your approval.

When you make a selection, we store it in your browser’s local storage (entry “adenci-einwilligung”, 12 months). To prove consent (Art. 7(1) GDPR), we store a randomly generated identifier, the time, the version of the settings and your selection on our server – but not your IP address or information about your browser or device. These records are deleted after three years. At your request, we also store your choice of display (light/dark) only in your browser (entry “adenci-farbschema”).

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR and § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time.

The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Enquiries by email, phone or fax

If you contact us by email, phone or fax, your enquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request.

The data you send to us via contact enquiries remains with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

Registration on this website

You can register on this website to use additional functions on the site. We use the data entered for this purpose only for the purpose of using the respective offer or service for which you have registered. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise, we will reject the registration.

For important changes, for example to the scope of the offer or technically necessary changes, we use the email address provided during registration to inform you.

The data entered during registration is processed for the purpose of implementing the user relationship established by the registration and, where applicable, for initiating further contracts (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

The data collected during registration is stored by us for as long as you are registered on this website and is subsequently deleted. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with further services related to website and internet usage. Data processing agreement

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Google Analytics e-commerce measurement

The data collected with WP Statistics is stored exclusively on our own server.

This analysis tool is used on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the anonymised analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise both our website and our advertising. Where corresponding consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Furthermore, targeted advertisements can be displayed on the basis of user data available at Google (e.g. location data and interests) (audience targeting). As the website operator, we can evaluate this data quantitatively, for example by analysing which search terms led to our advertisements being displayed and how many advertisements led to corresponding clicks.

This service is used on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks and https://business.safety.google/controllerterms/.

Furthermore, the advertising target groups created with Google Ads Remarketing can be linked to Google’s cross-device functions. In this way, interest-based, personalised advertising messages that have been adapted to you depending on your previous usage and browsing behaviour on one device (e.g. mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g. tablet or PC).

If you have a Google account, you can object to personalised advertising via the following link: https://adssettings.google.com/anonymous?hl=de.

Audience building with customer matching

For audience building, we use, among other things, the customer matching of Google Ads Remarketing. In doing so, we pass certain customer data (e.g. email addresses) from our customer lists to Google. If the customers concerned are Google users and are logged into their Google account, suitable advertising messages are displayed to them within the Google network (e.g. on YouTube, Gmail or in the search engine).

7. Newsletter

Newsletter data

If you would like to subscribe to our newsletter, we require an email address from you and, where applicable, further information that enables us to address you personally, provided you give this voluntarily.

We do not use any external newsletter services to send the newsletter. The data required for the newsletter subscription is processed in our own database on our own server at IONOS. Your data is not passed on to third parties, except in the context of technical provision and maintenance by our hosting provider IONOS.

Subscription to our newsletter is usually carried out using the so-called double opt-in procedure. After registering, you will receive an email in which you must confirm your registration. In this way, we ensure that no unauthorised person registers with your email address.

Your data is processed on the basis of your consent. You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future, for example via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter email or by sending us a message. The lawfulness of the processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected.

The data stored by us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter is stored until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted after unsubscribing, unless statutory retention obligations or other legally permissible reasons prevent deletion.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with our hosting provider IONOS insofar as personal data is processed there on our behalf.

If we evaluate opening or click rates, we only do so insofar as there is a separate legal basis for this and you have been informed accordingly.
